Quick Guide to Using the «TELESCOPE» Online Calculator
Basic Principle: Telescope gates are a type of sliding gate consisting of 2 sections (more than 2 is considered a less reliable design). When opening, they slide behind each other, taking up nearly half the space required for a standard sliding gate.
Telescopic gates come in 3 types: Cantilever, Monorail (on-track), and Hanging. Any type can be automated.
To start, select the gate type, enter the «Entrance Width A1» and click «Calculate». The «Entrance Width» and «Space for Opening» parameters are interdependent and recalculate automatically.
