Gate Rollers with U and V Grooves: Choosing Between Angle Iron or Pipe
KSV Systems presents a unique range of bottom support rollers for sliding gates and monorail structures. Our solutions are perfectly suited for movement along angle irons, pipes, or specialized round bars.

Two Groove Options and Sizes
For Ø15 mm pipes or specialized U-track profiles.
For standard angle iron or specialized V-track profiles.
We offer two power standards for each groove type:
- ✔ Ø78 mm (20 mm width): 203 series bearing, load capacity up to 484 kg.
- ✔ Ø98 mm (24 mm width): Reinforced 206 series bearing, load capacity up to 1019 kg.
Installation Secrets and Tips
Installation with External Bracket
The process is as simple as it gets: you rest the frame of the structure directly onto the mounting bracket. Keep in mind that the ground clearance (gap) will be equal to the total height of the roller plus the bracket.

Hidden Installation (Recessed)
For high aesthetics and minimal gaps, use the recessed bracket. It is built into the bottom profile (minimum 40x60 mm). This allows the gate to practically "sit" on the monorail, hiding the mechanisms inside the frame.
Vertical (Inverted) Installation
If the profile depth doesn't allow for full recessing (60 mm), the bracket can be flipped. In this case, only an opening for the roller is made in the profile, and the frame rests on the roller itself. This provides a smaller gap than the external bracket without requiring a full internal cutout.
Note: This method is only suitable for Ø78 mm rollers.

Why use the Ø15 mm standard for U-tracks?
Many look for rollers for Ø25-50 mm pipes, but this is technically inefficient. We stick to a clean, unified U-profile standard with a 15 mm diameter. While the V-groove roller is more versatile and can work with various pipes, we recommend our specialized track profiles for the best results.
Ready for Installation?
All brackets can be secured using either metal screws or welding.
